Recognised for his outstanding professionalism and contribution to the merchants and civils sector in his early career, Fernco’s rising star Declan Taylor has been awarded the 2025 BMF Young Supplier Achiever.
This prestigious award was presented by the Builders Merchants Federation at the Building & Marketing Excellence Awards on 18 September. These awards highlight the young professionals making both an immediate and lasting impact within the merchant and civils sector, helping shape the industry’s future. This year, Fernco, a specialist manufacturer and distributor of civils & drainage, plumbing and flood protection, is proud to see one of its own return home with the award.
Since joining Fernco in 2023 through his marketing apprenticeship, Declan has quickly made an impact on not just the business but the wider industry. His energy and collaborative approach to tasks have not only delivered impressive results but have also helped drive innovation and improve outcomes for merchant partners, contractors and the end customers.
