Introduction & Uses

Fernco have designed a range of lateral connection saddle products specifically for smooth PVC pipes to ensure the market has an ‘off the shelf’ solution for the most common connections. Fernco’s range of ‘TA Saddles’ for smooth PVC ensure an airtight and watertight seal between a sewer or surface water pipe and a smaller lateral (or branch) pipe.

Saddles offer the same solution as pipe junctions, for example, lateral pipes from new build houses, road gullies etc, need to be connected into the system mains.

For Smooth PVC 160-600mm

Smooth PVC sewer or surface water pipes from 160mm to 600mm can be connected into using a suitable Fernco TA Saddle.

The Fernco range of TA Saddles are used to connect 110mm, 160mm or 200mm lateral (or branch) pipes.

By making a cored hole in the main pipe at the desired position, the Fernco TA Saddle can be installed onto smooth PVC pipe to create a permanent watertight seal between the sewer or surface water pipe and the lateral pipe.
